razzle red

Hey guys...I'm blogging on Emma's new laptop and it's very cool. Now I can write blogs anywhere in the house---even on the comfort of my doggy bed. The boys have been very sweet this weekend. They love having their daddy home. (Emma loves it too- got to sleep in till 10:30 this morning--what in the world!)
Today Jon and Emma showed Cole how to drive a monster truck over all his other cars. He had a lot of fun messing the cars up and then saying "Oh no...what happened?" Later after Cole went down for a nap, Beckett wanted to play with the same monster truck and tried so hard to move forward to get it.
Once that boy figures out how to move, we won't be able to catch him. Well I'm off to bed. I'm tired because I stayed up late last night for Emma to come home from her girl's night. 13 going on 30 and razzle dazzle drinks-wish I could have gone!

outback in the sandbox

Look! We finally have a decent photo of the Joersz family! I know the boys aren't looking at the camera, but they still look pretty cute. We've had a really good weekend. Mama & Papa Joersz came to visit and the boys loved spending time with them.
The sandbox that Jon and Papa Al made is a huge hit- with Colton and Beckett. I really like the sandbox too, but don't think I'm allowed in it! We spent most of our time outside playing in the sandbox and going to the park. Thanks for coming to visit us Mama & Papa!

Beckett has started doing a lot of new things lately...
-He's sitting up really well now
-He has TWO teeth
-He is grabbing for things and loves to play with his toes
-He laughs a lot (especially me!)
-The latest new thing is a loud shriek just to be heard
-He's going through a growth spurt the last couple days
(Growth spurt= waking up at 2am, but taking good naps during the day!)

a special day

Dear Beckett,
Yesterday at church we dedicated you to the Lord. Even though it didn't seem like a big deal to you then, we hope that one day you'll look back at this picture of you with family on this day and see how special this really was. We are committing to raise you in a way that is pleasing to God. We want to help you love Him and grow close to him. We are so excited to see you and your brother Colton grow up to be physically and spiritually strong. We love you so much!

Love,
Daddy & Mommy

beckett has teeth.

My grandparents came to town yesterday and are staying for the weekend. We're all having a really good time and I've been a good doggy. Grandpa and Jon have been busy out back building a sandbox for the boys. Grandma and Emma took the boys to the park and Beckett took his first ride in the wagon. He's sitting up better each day and is starting to play with his feet. I forgot to mention in my last blog that Beckett is getting teeth! Aunt Lacey was the first to notice a bottom tooth last week and now this week he has TWO bottom teeth! Poor Emma.
Here's a picture of sweet little Piper and Beckett hanging out at the FARM last weekend. They're going to be great buds.
Stay tuned for some cute sandbox pictures coming soon....

Thanks Piper!

I'm very disappointed to hear that Emma and Beckett went up to the farm in Virginia this weekend without me! The girls threw a baby shower this weekend for Jessica. Emma said the shower was a lot of fun and baby Izzy got lots of cute things. Cole stayed home with Jon and me and Emma got to go up with just Beckett. Jon and Cole had a great boys' weekend. Beckett was definitely outnumbered by girls, but did get to spend some quality time with Uncle Luke and Uncle Jesse. Luke got some practice changing diapers this weekend and Emma said it was very funny to watch. Lacey traveled up to Virginia with just Piper. Piper was so sweet and was doing great at sitting up and playing with toys. Her favorite was Beckett's turtle. That's one of my favorites too. Beckett has started the sitting up process this past week, but after this weekend has really started sitting up for longer than just a few seconds. He now can sit for a couple minutes (especially if he's holding his toy basket as shown in the picture!) Anyways, I just wanted to write a quick blog real fast before going to bed and share what my family has been up to this weekend. I'm feeling much better. I got my staples out and went on 2 walks today. I'm tired! Goodnight!

so sorry little beck...

I know it's been a couple days since my last post- I was banned from the computer because I was a naughty dog. You would think that I would have learned my lesson, but Saturday afternoon I decided that I was mad at Emma and ate one of Beckett's socks. I know I'm targeting my anger at Beckett's belongings. So Beckett- I'm sorry. This post is for you. Look how cute you are!

We went to the vet's office again this morning to check on me since I've eaten a sock and haven't pooped in a week. They checked me out and sent me home. I really like everyone at my vet. I go to Independence Veterinary Clinic and everyone there is so great! They've called to check on me and have been very helpful. Emma called them this afternoon...and it was a little embarrassing. The only reason she called was to tell them that I pooped. She sounded so excited too.

I wasn't able to go, but Emma said she needed to get out of the house and socialize with some friends this morning after we got home from the vet. She and the boys met lots of friends at the park and had a picnic. They said they had a fun time. Well if you get a chance to watch tomorrow night, Fox news at 10 is going to be covering a story about Music Together, a music class that Emma and the boys plan on attending this summer. The teachers asked us to come join while they film tomorrow- so you might catch a glimpse of them!

Going once, going twice....

Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments- I'm feeling much better today and enjoyed hearing all my get well wishes. Today has been a good day.

I'm still feeling sort of yucky, but have started feeling better throughout the day. I even barked at Kristie when she and Norah came over!

I guess since I'm feeling better, I should get back to my job---writing about those cute Joersz boys. Emma and the boys went to downtown Waxhaw this afternoon to take pictures of our little friend Norah. Of course Emma couldn't resist taking some pictures of Colton & Beckett.
Well before I go to bed, I just wanted to let you know that I'm auctioning off my all too famous bib. Post a comment if you'd like to make a bid! Have a good night!

what did i eat...

Well, it has been a long night, and I'm still really groggy, but I am home and hopefully starting to get better. I'm very thankful that Dr. Michelle and Dr. Bart stayed late to do my surgery, otherwise I would have had to go to the doggy emergency room! Emma picked me up around 9 last night and slept downstairs with me. She took me out to go to the bathroom at 1:30 this morning....what was she thinking?! So I bet you're wondering what I could have eaten...it was a Beckett bib. Beckett is the messiest eater in Union County, so his messy bib was pretty irresistable to me. Well-there's an update on me. And here's a cute picture of Cole at lunch yesterday- he makes us smile when we need a smile!
