We love 3 day weekends! It's so nice to have Jon home one extra day. To celebrate, they left me at home and headed down to the Columbia Zoo for the day. (Nice, huh? I guess I wouldn't have mixed well with all those animals!) They had a really good time and saw plenty of neat creatures. The favorite? Most likely the giraffe! What a neat looking animal and everyone got to feed it- even Cole who is normally cautious towards new things. Cole also liked the aquarium. Both boys were great and had a fun time!

I can't believe you got to touch the giraffe!! Urgh - disobedient children and trying to be a consistent parent stinks sometimes!!!
